Johnny & Jenny

Johnny & Jenny is a story of crossing paths!
They both met in 2008 while attending Virginia Commonwealth University; Johnny was a lighting major and Jenny, a costume major.
After graduation, they both moved to D.C. where Jenny worked at The Shakespeare Theatre Company and Johnny worked at the Newseum. Jenny lived on Capitol Hill and walked down the National Mall past the Newseum everyday on her way to work.
In 2014,they both moved to New York City. Throughout the years in NYC they remained friends.
While hanging out at the Prickly Pear in the West Village, Jenny made friends with strangers, as she usually does. As the night progressed, the new friends were adamant that Johnny & Jenny were a couple despite assurances otherwise. Those fateful strangers eventually convinced the both of them that there was something more than friendship. They started dating that weekend.
Three years later, in September of 2024, Johnny and Jenny went to Yellowstone National Park. They took a sunset hike to a waterfall, and Johnny got down on one knee. Laughing, Jenny said yes! They hiked back to their car where their friends had a bottle of champagne waiting for us!
