Doors will open at 4:00 PM and the ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM. Please arrive with enough time to grab a drink and your seat!
We are having an extended wedding reception that is ending at 11:00PM. For that reason we are not hosting an afterparty. There are plenty of bars and breweries in Richmond and most bars close at 2AM if you plan on going out after.
Yes! We really wanted to focus on spending as much time with those we love. We will be hosting a Welcome Party on Friday night and a Farewell Brunch on Sunday.

Transportation & Accommodations
Both the ceremony and the reception are fully indoors.
Both the wedding and the reception will be held at the Schoolhouse on Hawthorne at the Lewis Ginter Recreation Association. The address is 3421 Hawthorne Ave, Richmond, VA 23222.
Unfortunately, since the schoolhouse was built in 1901, it is not wheelchair accessible. The ceremony and the cocktail hour will take place on the first floor, where there are only a few steps up into the building. The reception is held on the second floor and has a full set of stairs to reach.
Please reach out to us if you have mobility issues and we can arrange someone to help you to your seat and to the reception.
Yes! There is parking at All Saints Catholic School Parking Lot, 3418 Noble Ave, Richmond, VA 2322. The entrance is on Walton Ave, between Hawthorn Ave and Noble Ave. Please move your car out of the parking lot by midnight. Your car will get towed if you leave it overnight. If you want to drive and leave your car overnight, please park on the street. There is plenty of street parking available in the neighborhood.
We also recommend utilizing Taxis, Ubers and Lyfts.
There will not be a shuttle. We encourage you to use Cabs, Ubers, and Lyfts if you plan to drink.
While we will not be reserving a block of hotel rooms, we encourage you to stay at a local Richmond establishment. We have three listed on our travel page you can find here. There are also plenty of Airbnb and Vrbo's in Richmond.

Please refer to your wedding invite. It will indicate if you have a plus one.
Children are allowed and will be included in your invite. We do recommend arranging childcare at some point in the evening. We are having an extended reception and would like to spend as much time with you as possible!
Nope! There will be a bar on the first floor for cocktail hour immediately after the ceremony and the reception room will be available. The bar in the Reception room will start 1 hour after the ceremony.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the venue.
Menu & Dietary Restrictions
Appetizers will be served during cocktail hour. We will have a buffet style dinner. The full menu will be provided at a later date. Pizza and snacks will also be provided as a late night snack.
Yes! We will make sure your dietary restrictions are met. Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies on your RSVP.
Yes! An open bar will be available from when you arrive to the ceremony until the end of the reception.

The wedding and reception will be inside.
October in Richmond is the perfect time of year! The average temperature is 60°F.
Your presence is the only present we need! We live in a New York City apartment and currently have everything we need and too little space to store it.
